PIONEER WOMAN MARINATED GRILLED SHRIMP

The weather conditions are heating up and we are missing voyaging and more distant family travels. A few suppers help us to remember all that and for my purposes, marinated grilled shrimp mixed drinks do that impeccably.

Ingredients

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • ¼ cup tomato sauce
  • cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 lb fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Skewers

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients except for the shrimp
  • Add the shrimp to the bowl, mix carefully, and put them in the fridge to marinate (covered) for up to one hour.
  • Put the shrimp in skewers and grill for 3 minutes on each side
