  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed, adds acidity
  • 1 teaspoon dill Optional

Method

Preparation
  1. Slice the fish into finger-width sticks and pat them dry thoroughly.
  2. Dip each piece of fish into flour, then dredge in beaten eggs, and roll in seasoned bread crumbs.
  3. Arrange the breaded fish sticks in the air fryer basket without crowding them.
  4. Spritz the fish sticks lightly with cooking spray.
Cooking
  1. Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook the fish sticks for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  2. Check for a crispy texture before removing them.
Sauce Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, mustard, chopped pickles, lemon juice, and dill.
  2. Chill the sauce in the fridge before serving.

Notes

Ensure to dry the fish well to prevent sogginess in the final product. Pair with crinkle fries, coleslaw, or a simple salad for a complete meal. Store leftovers in the air fryer for reheating.
