  • 16 oz baby bella mushrooms Can substitute with button or portobello mushrooms.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil May use cooking spray for a lighter option.
  • 1 tsp salt Adjust according to taste.
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper Freshly ground is preferred.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Optional seasoning.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Clean the mushrooms without soaking them to avoid sogginess.
  • Pat dry and cut them into similar sizes for even cooking.
  • In a bowl, toss the mushrooms with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 380°F for a few minutes.
  • Place the mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 8 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
  • Cooking time may vary based on mushroom size and desired crispiness.
  • Enjoy them fresh from the fryer for the best taste.

Notes

Don't overcrowd the basket for the best crispiness. Add cheese or herbs in the last two minutes for extra flavor.
