Instructions

Preparation

  • Pat salmon dry with paper towels to help it cook nicely instead of steaming.
  • Season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 390-400°F (200-200°C).
  • Air fry the salmon. Thin fillets will take about 7-9 minutes, while thicker fillets may require 10-12 minutes. Check for flakiness with a fork.

Making Lemon Butter Sauce

  • In a small pan, melt the butter over low heat, then stir in lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and garlic. Whisk quickly if it separates.
  • Spoon the lemon butter sauce over the salmon immediately after cooking.

Notes

Pat the salmon dry before seasoning. Let the salmon rest for 2 minutes after cooking to allow juices to settle. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket for even cooking.
