Preparation
- Start with a steak, preferably 1 to 1.5 inches thick. Let it sit out to warm up, about 20–30 minutes.
- Rub both sides with olive oil, then sprinkle on salt, pepper, and any additional seasonings.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
- Pop the steak in, making sure there’s space. Cook for 8–10 minutes for medium-rare, flipping halfway.
- Once it’s done, let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For best results, always pat steak dry before seasoning and don’t skip the resting period after cooking.
