Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces steaks (preferably 1 to 1.5 inches thick, such as ribeye or New York strip) Bring to room temperature before cooking.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Rub on both sides of the steak.
  • to taste salt Use as a seasoning.
  • to taste black pepper Use as a seasoning.
Optional Seasonings
  • to taste garlic powder For extra flavor.
  • to taste smoked paprika For extra flavor.
  • to taste Montreal steak spice For extra flavor.
Finishing Touch
  • 1 pat garlic butter Add right after pulling the steak out for extra richness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start with a steak, preferably 1 to 1.5 inches thick. Let it sit out to warm up, about 20–30 minutes.
  2. Rub both sides with olive oil, then sprinkle on salt, pepper, and any additional seasonings.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Pop the steak in, making sure there’s space. Cook for 8–10 minutes for medium-rare, flipping halfway.
  3. Once it’s done, let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For best results, always pat steak dry before seasoning and don’t skip the resting period after cooking.
