Preparation
- Beat the egg in one bowl.
- In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs, parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Dip each tortellini in the egg mixture, then coat it with the breadcrumb mixture.
Cooking
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Spray the air fryer basket to avoid sticking.
- Place the coated tortellini in a single layer in the basket, making sure not to overcrowd.
- Spray the tops with a little cooking spray.
- Cook for 7-10 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
Let refrigerated tortellini sit out for a few minutes before coating for better crisping. Experiment with spices in breadcrumbs for variety. Cook in batches to avoid uneven crisping.
