Preparation

  • Slice ripe bananas and freeze them on a flat layer in a sheet pan before transferring them to a bag or container.
  • Freeze the bananas for at least 2 hours until solid.

Blending Nice Cream

  • Add frozen bananas and mixed berries to a high-speed blender.
  • Start blending with short pulses to break down the fruit into small bits.
  • Continue blending until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of almond milk or coconut milk as needed.

Serving

  • Serve immediately for a soft-serve texture or transfer to a container and freeze for 30 to 90 minutes for scoops.

Notes

You can add toppings like sliced fruits, nuts, chocolate chips, or nut butter for added flavor. Experiment with flavor variations like chocolate cherry or strawberry shortcake.
