Ingredients
  

Dip Ingredients

  • 1 block (8 ounces) cream cheese, cubed
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack
  • 1 can (12 ounces) beer (lighter is nicer) Choose a beer you would drink.
  • 1 splash Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 pinch garlic powder
  • 1 big dash hot sauce (optional) Adjust to taste.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Throw the cream cheese right into your slow cooker.
  • Scatter the shredded cheeses in there.
  • Pour in the beer, followed by Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and hot sauce.
  • Stir everything with a wooden spoon a few times.

Cooking

  • Set the slow cooker to low and walk away for about an hour.
  • When you come back, give it a serious stir. If it's not creamy yet, leave it another 15 minutes and try again.
  • Set your crock-pot to 'warm' and serve hot.

Notes

Best served with pretzel bites, tortilla chips, or as a sandwich spread. Can be reheated with a splash of milk for leftovers.
