Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground pork with salt, black pepper, sage, paprika, and any additional spices you wish to add.
  • Mix the ingredients together until evenly combined, being careful not to overmix.
  • Shape the mixture into patties, about the size of a golf ball, and flatten them slightly.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat (cast iron works best).
  • Cook the patties for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Notes

Store leftover patties in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze them for longer storage. Reheat in a skillet or microwave.
