  • 1-1.5 cups whipped topping (or homemade whipped cream) Use store-bought for ease or homemade for a fresher taste.
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips Plus more for topping.
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips Optional for drizzle, melt with coconut oil or butter.
  • 1 pinch salt Optional, if using unsalted peanut butter.

Preparation

  • In a big bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until it is smooth and not lumpy.
  • Add the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Mix until thick and creamy.
  • Fold in the whipped topping gently with a spatula, ensuring it stays fluffy.
  • Stir in the mini chocolate chips.
  • Spread the mixture into a shallow serving dish and sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top.
  • Chill for at least 1 hour; two hours for best results.
  • For extra flair, melt the chocolate chips with coconut oil and drizzle over the top, then chill again until set.

Notes

Store covered in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the fridge. Can be frozen for 1 month but may change texture. Serve with various dippers like graham crackers, vanilla wafers, or apple slices.
