Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 medium ripe avocados Make sure they are soft for easy blending.
  • 8 oz dark chocolate Use high-cocoa for more antioxidants.
  • 2 tbsp sweetener of choice Adjust based on personal preference.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Optional for flavor.
Coating Options
  • 1 cup cocoa powder For rolling the truffles.
  • 1 cup shredded coconut Optional for tropical flavor.
  • 1 cup freeze-dried fruit dust Fancy alternative coating.
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon Optional for added flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a food processor, blend ripe avocados until smooth.
  2. Melt dark chocolate and pour into the food processor with the avocado.
  3. Add sweetener and vanilla extract, blending until fully combined and creamy.
Forming Truffles
  1. Using your hands, scoop and roll the mixture into small balls.
  2. Roll the truffles in cocoa powder, shredded coconut, fruit dust, or additional toppings of your choice.
Chilling
  1. Place the truffles in an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for longer storage. Allow to thaw before eating. Best enjoyed chilled.
