Preparation
- Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and paprika or garlic powder.
- Pour Coca-Cola over the pork until it is mostly covered.
- Cover and set the slow cooker to low for 8 hours.
Finishing
- After 8 hours, shred the pork directly in the pot using two forks.
- Stir in the BBQ sauce and mix well.
Notes
For the best flavor, do not rush the cooking time; allow the pork to cook slowly. Leftovers can be kept in the fridge for 3-4 days and can also be frozen for up to 3 months. To reheat, add a splash of broth or additional sauce to keep it moist.
