  • 1 can diced tomatoes with green chiles Adds gentle heat and brightness.

Preparation

  • Brown the pork sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  • In a crockpot, combine the browned sausage, softened cream cheese, shredded cheese, and diced tomatoes with green chiles.

Cooking

  • Set the crockpot to low and cook for about 2 hours.
  • Stir occasionally to ensure even melting and blending of ingredients.
  • Once melted and creamy, keep the crockpot on warm for serving.

Notes

This dip can be made ahead and reheated. It lasts in the fridge for 3 to 4 days. For added richness, finish with a splash of half-and-half right before serving.
