Preparation
- Place the chicken and diced onion in the crockpot.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken.
- Set the crockpot to low and cook for 4-5 hours.
Finishing Touches
- Shred the chicken in the sauce with two forks towards the end of cooking.
- If you want it thicker, mix cornstarch with water and stir into the crockpot for the last 30 minutes.
Notes
Don't overcook, and consider marinating the chicken in teriyaki sauce beforehand for more flavor. Leftovers are even better the next day.
