Preparation

  • Preheat your waffle maker fully.
  • Lightly grease the waffle maker if it tends to stick.
  • Place one croissant (or one portion of dough) in the center of the waffle maker.

Cooking

  • Close the lid gently without smashing down.
  • Cook for 3 to 5 minutes; peek at 3 minutes to check color.
  • Let it sit for 1 minute after cooking to firm up.

Notes

Croffles are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for a month. Reheat in a toaster oven or air fryer for best results.
