  • 4 cups pink lemonade (chilled, store bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups fresh ice Fresh ice blends better and tastes cleaner.
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries or raspberries This helps with color and gives a fruity edge.
  • 1-2 ounces vodka (optional) For the adult version.
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup or honey (optional) Only needed if your lemonade is super tart.
  • 1 slice lemon (for serving, optional) Cute garnish.
  • a pinch salt Helps the flavor pop.

Preparation

  • Add your pink lemonade to the blender first to help the blades catch the ice.
  • Toss in the frozen strawberries to thicken and give extra pink color.
  • Add vodka if desired, starting with a small amount.
  • Add around 2 to 3 cups of ice, adjusting for thickness.
  • Blend until smooth. Adjust thickness by adding more lemonade or ice as needed.
  • Taste the slushie and add simple syrup or a pinch of salt if needed.
  • Pour into glasses, garnish with a lemon slice or strawberry, and serve immediately.

Notes

Best enjoyed immediately after blending for the perfect texture. If desired, serve with a cold treat such as frozen graham cracker treats.
