Main Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 6 to 8 slices thinly sliced ham
  • 6 to 8 slices cheese (Swiss, cheddar, or provolone)
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon or honey mustard (optional)
  • to taste freshly cracked black pepper
  • parchment paper or oil spray for the air fryer To prevent sticking

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Unroll the dough and separate into triangles.
  • If desired, spread a pea-sized smear of mustard on each triangle.
  • Lay down the ham and add the cheese on top.
  • Roll each triangle from the wide end to the tip, placing seam-side down in the air fryer basket.
  • Brush each croissant with melted butter and sprinkle with pepper.

Cooking

  • Air fry the croissants at 330°F for 6 to 8 minutes or until golden and puffed.
  • Let them rest for 2 minutes before serving.

Notes

Chill cheese before rolling to prevent melting out during cooking. Use medium heat for consistent browning and avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket.
