Preparation

  • Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients: oats, chopped nuts, and seeds.
  • In a separate bowl, warm the wet ingredients (honey and nut butter) until easily pourable but not hot.
  • Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until well combined using a sturdy spoon.
  • Add any additional ingredients like dried fruits or chocolate chips and mix again.
  • Press the mixture firmly into the lined baking pan until flat.
  • Refrigerate for about 2 hours, then slice into bars.

Notes

Wrap bars individually in parchment or wax paper for convenient grab-and-go snacks. Store them in a sealed container in the fridge for freshness.
