- Dump the package of Lil Smokies into your Instant Pot.
- Pour over your favorite barbecue sauce and add brown sugar or grape jelly if desired.
- Stir everything gently to coat the smokies in the sauce.
Cooking
- Lock on the lid and set the Instant Pot to manual high pressure for 5 minutes.
- Once the cooking time is up, let it sit for a few minutes for a natural release.
- Carefully vent to release any remaining pressure, then open the lid and stir the smokies again.
Serving
- Serve the smokies hot from the pot. Enjoy with toothpicks or over rice.
Notes
These smokies can be made ahead of time and reheated. They freeze well for later use. Feel free to experiment with different sauces like teriyaki or buffalo.
