Ingredients
  

Chicken and Marinade

  • 4 pieces medium chicken breasts Pound to even thickness for even cooking.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For coating the chicken.
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice Freshly squeezed for best flavor.
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced.
  • 1 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon pepper To season the chicken.

Optional Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon paprika For added flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon honey For a hint of sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning For extra taste.

Preparation

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  • In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings.
  • Coat the chicken with the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes but up to a day.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

Cooking

  • Place the marinated chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 9-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (75°C).
  • Remove from the air fryer and let the chicken rest for at least 3 minutes before slicing.

Notes
