Ingredients
  

For the Salad Bowl

  • 1 lb Ground beef Season with salt and pepper
  • 4 cups Romaine or iceberg lettuce Chopped for crunch
  • 1 cup Cheddar or American cheese Shredded
  • 1/2 cup Pickles Chopped
  • 1/4 cup Onion Diced small (optional)

For the Big Mac Style Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise For creaminess
  • 1 tbsp Mustard For flavor
  • 1/4 cup Dill pickles or pickle relish For that signature taste
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar For tang
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 pinch Keto-friendly sweetener Optional for sweetness

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper.
  • While the beef is cooking, prepare the Big Mac style sauce by whisking together mayonnaise, mustard, pickles, vinegar, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and sweetener in a bowl.
  • Chop the lettuce, cheese, pickles, and onion (if using) and set aside.

Assembly

  • Layer the chopped lettuce in bowls.
  • Add shredded cheese and chopped pickles on top.
  • Spoon the cooked ground beef over the cheese and pickles.
  • Drizzle the Big Mac style sauce on top before serving.

Notes

For meal prep, keep the warm beef and cold toppings separate until ready to eat. The sauce can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for 5 to 7 days.
