Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Heavy whipping cream For dairy-free, use full-fat coconut cream.
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder Dutch-process tastes deeper, natural cocoa is lighter.
  • 1/2 cup Powdered keto sweetener Use erythritol, monk fruit blend, or allulose. Powdered keeps it silky.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract Rounds out the chocolate flavor.
  • 1 pinch Salt Makes everything taste brighter.

Optional Boosters

  • 1 teaspoon Espresso powder For bolder chocolate flavor.
  • 1 square Melted 90% dark chocolate For extra richness.
  • 1 teaspoon Orange zest For a zesty twist.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Chill your mixing bowl and beaters for 10 minutes.

Mixing

  • Beat the heavy cream with a pinch of salt until soft peaks form.
  • Sprinkle in cocoa powder, powdered sweetener, and vanilla. Keep whipping until thick and airy with soft to medium peaks.

Completion

  • Taste and adjust sweetness as desired. Spoon into cups and chill for 15 minutes for the best texture.

Notes

For best texture, start with very cold cream and chill your mixing bowl. Use powdered sweetener for a smooth mousse. If overwhipped, add a tablespoon or two of cream and whisk gently to restore texture.
