- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Mashed Cauliflower
- While the meat cooks, steam or boil the chopped cauliflower until tender.
- Drain thoroughly and then mash it with butter, cream cheese, salt, and pepper until creamy.
- Make sure to squeeze out excess water to avoid a runny mash.
Assembling and Baking
- Spread the meat mixture evenly in a baking dish.
- Top with the mashed cauliflower, spreading it out smoothly.
- If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
Notes
For best results, drain your cauliflower well to achieve a fluffy topping. Variations can include adding chopped spinach to the mash or substituting different meats based on preference.
