Ingredients
  

For the Tuna Salad

  • 1 can tuna packed in water Look for a clean taste
  • 2-3 tablespoons mayo Greek yogurt can be used for a tangy alternative
  • 1 stalk celery Can substitute with cucumber
  • few spoonfuls chopped red onion Scallions are also a good alternative
  • to taste salt and pepper Don't be shy!
  • 1 scoop Dijon mustard Optional but adds great flavor
  • 1 squeeze fresh lemon

For Assembly

  • Big leaves of crispy lettuce Butter or romaine works best

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine the tuna, mayo, celery, red onion, salt, pepper, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice.
  • Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined.
  • Chill the tuna salad in the refrigerator if possible.

Assembly

  • Take a big leaf of lettuce and add a generous scoop of the tuna salad.
  • Fold the lettuce around the filling and enjoy immediately.

Notes

For variations, you can add capers, dill, or your favorite veggies. Dry your lettuce to avoid sogginess, and use your hands for a messy eating experience.
