Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 bag Bugles the classic crunchy corn snacks
  • 1 cup peanut butter creamy is easiest, but crunchy works too
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar helps thicken the filling so it stays put
  • 2 tablespoons butter softened for a smoother filling
  • 1 cup chocolate melting wafers, chocolate chips, or almond bark

Optional Toppings

  • 1 pinch salt to enhance flavor
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

Preparation

  • Set up your space first. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper.
  • In a bowl, stir together peanut butter, softened butter, and powdered sugar until it looks like a thick, smooth paste.
  • Take one Bugle at a time and spoon in a small amount of filling, using a butter knife handle or the back of a spoon to push it down inside.

Chocolate Coating

  • Use a microwave safe bowl to melt the chocolate in short bursts, stirring in between.
  • Dip the wide end of each filled Bugle into the melted chocolate, or drizzle chocolate on top.
  • Let them set on the lined sheet until the chocolate firms up at room temperature, or refrigerate for about 10 to 15 minutes.

Notes

Store them in an airtight container. If your kitchen is warm, store in the fridge to keep the chocolate snappy.
