  • 2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough Can also use pizza dough.
  • 1 cup pizza sauce Use a thick sauce to prevent sogginess.
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese For cheesy goodness.
  • 1 cup mini pepperonis Or you can use diced pepperoni.
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese For added flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Optional, for extra flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Optional, for an herby taste.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cut the biscuit dough into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a large bowl, combine the biscuit pieces with a light coating of pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperonis, and seasonings.

Assembly

  • Layer the dough mixture in a greased casserole dish, lightly coating each layer with pizza sauce, cheese, and pepperoni.
  • Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Cover with foil if the top browns too quickly.

Serving

  • Let the casserole sit for about 5 minutes before serving.
  • Serve warm with extra pizza sauce, ranch, or marinara for dipping.

Notes

This dish reheats well. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
