Ingredients
  

Main ingredients
  • 1 pound flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced Cut against the grain for juiciness.
  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets Do not use frozen broccoli for better texture.
Sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Use a gluten-free version if needed.
  • 2 tablespoons honey Can substitute with a Whole30 compliant sweetener.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil For flavor.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
  3. Toss sliced beef and broccoli in half of the sauce mixture until well-coated.
  4. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
Cooking
  1. Spread the beef and broccoli evenly on the prepared sheet pan.
  2. Bake for 12-14 minutes until beef is cooked through and broccoli is crisp-tender.
  3. Remove from oven and drizzle with reserved sauce before serving.

Notes

For best results, slice beef thinly and don’t overcrowd the pan. Serve with cauliflower rice or jasmine rice. Leftovers keep well in the fridge for 3 days.
