  • 4 cups frozen corn No need to thaw.
  • 8 oz cream cheese, cut into chunks Just plop it in.
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, sliced
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

  • Dump everything into your slow cooker in the order you like; corn goes in first.
  • Cover with the lid, set your slow cooker to low, and cook for four hours.
  • After four hours, give it a good stir to combine.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning with extra salt or pepper if necessary. Serve hot.

Notes

Leftovers reheat perfectly. Pair with BBQ ribs or use as a dip with sourdough bread.
