Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless pork chops Thicker chops hold up better in the slow cooker.
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning Or 2 to 3 tablespoons of homemade ranch seasoning with added salt.
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup Alternatively, cream of mushroom can be used.
  • 8 ounces cream cheese Cut into cubes for faster melting.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Add more if needed to thin the sauce.

Optional Extras

  • 1 small handful sliced mushrooms
  • to taste black pepper
  • to taste garlic powder For garlic lovers.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Spray the slow cooker insert with nonstick spray or use a liner.
  • Lay the pork chops in the bottom of the slow cooker, overlapping slightly if necessary.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, and chicken broth.
  • Pour the mixture over the pork chops.
  • Add the cubed cream cheese on top.

Cooking

  • Cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours or HIGH for 2.5 to 3.5 hours, until the pork is tender.
  • Stir the sauce well near the end of cooking to fully blend in the cream cheese.

Notes

For best results, use thicker pork chops to prevent dryness. Serve with mashed potatoes or other sides that soak up the creamy sauce. Optional: add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a slight kick.
