- Place the lamb leg in the slow cooker.

- After the cooking time, carefully remove the lamb from the slow cooker.
- Place the lamb under the broiler for a few minutes to crisp the skin.

Making Gravy
- Pour the drippings from the slow cooker into a pan.
- Skim off excess fat and add a spoonful of flour.
- Whisk until lumps are gone and gradually add broth or water until thickened.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Notes
For extra flavor, poke holes in the lamb and insert slivers of garlic and rosemary. Consider adding cherry tomatoes or dried apricots during the last hour of cooking for a fruity twist.
