Ingredients
  

For the punch

  • 1 cup white rum
  • 1 cup dark rum
  • 2 cups pineapple juice use fresh if possible
  • 1.5 cups orange juice use fresh if possible
  • 0.5 cup lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 0.25-0.33 cup grenadine to taste
  • 1-2 cups sparkling water or lemon lime soda optional for a lighter fizz
  • Lots of cups ice
  • Fruit for serving: orange slices, lime wheels, pineapple chunks, maraschino cherries

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Add both rums to a big pitcher.
  • Pour in pineapple juice, orange juice, and lime juice. Stir well.
  • Add grenadine slowly, starting with 1/4 cup, stir, then taste. Adjust sweetness as desired.
  • If desired, top with sparkling water or lemon lime soda right before serving.
  • Fill glasses with ice, pour the punch, and add fruit slices for serving.

Notes

Make ahead by mixing the base (rums, juices, grenadine) up to 24 hours in advance. Add bubbly just before serving to keep it fresh. Adjust lime juice for sweetness as needed.
