  • 1 pound Fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1-2 teaspoons Olive oil Use sparingly
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt Plus more to taste
  • Black pepper
  • Optional: garlic powder, lemon, parmesan, red pepper flakes For additional flavor

Preparation

  • Rinse the beans and pat them really dry with a towel.
  • Toss green beans with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl for even coating.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 380°F if desired.

Cooking

  • Add the beans to the air fryer in a loose layer, allowing some overlap.
  • Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. Adjust time to 11 to 12 minutes for softer beans.
  • Taste and finish with a squeeze of lemon or a pinch of parmesan.

Notes

Best served immediately for maximum crispiness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days and reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 3 to 5 minutes.
