Preparation
- Soften the cream cheese by microwaving it briefly if it's too cold.
- Spread the cream cheese evenly over the low carb tortilla or nori.
- Layer the smoked salmon on top of the cream cheese.
- Add a sprinkle of fresh dill or chives, and optionally sliced cucumbers or red onions.
- Roll the tortilla tightly, making sure the filling is secure.
- Chill the roll in the fridge for about 30 minutes to make slicing easier.
Slicing and Serving
- Using a sharp knife, slice the rolled tortilla into pinwheels.
- Arrange on a platter and serve immediately or store in the fridge until serving.
Notes
Best served fresh but can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap. Do not freeze.
