Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients

  • 2 cups Frozen mango chunks Fresh mango can be used combined with ice.
  • 1 cup Ice Optional if mango is frozen.
  • 1/2 cup Mango nectar or orange juice A splash to blend.
  • 2 tablespoons Lime juice Fresh lime is best.

Toppings and Swirls

  • 1/4 cup Chamoy For swirling and blending.
  • 1 tablespoon Tajin For the rim and topping.

Optional Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Sweetener (honey, agave, or simple syrup) If the mango is not super ripe.
  • 1 piece Tamarind straw or mango spear For garnish.

Preparation

  • Drizzle chamoy around the inside of the glass, rotating to make streaks, then add Tajin to the rim.
  • Add frozen mango to the blender with a splash of mango nectar (or orange juice) and a squeeze of lime. Blend until smooth, adjusting with more liquid or frozen mango as needed.
  • Taste and adjust with more lime, chamoy, or sweetener according to your preference.

Assembly

  • Pour the mango slush into the glass prepared with chamoy. Drizzle more chamoy on top and finish with a sprinkle of Tajin.
  • Serve immediately for the best experience, preferably icy cold.

Notes
